Not one, but TWO STARTIFY7 winners!
Congratulations to the two STARTIFY7 participants Chris Sproates and Ali Hasan Imam who received their awards during the LiveWorx Europe 2015 conference in Stuttgart this 17-18 November for winning the Thingworx IoT app contest. In fact, Thingworx is a platform owned by the company PTC that enables the rapid development of applications designed for a world of smart, connected sensors, devices, and products – or the Internet of Things. Having already been selected among 200+ applicants to particiate in the STARTIFY7 IoT academy that took place this summer in Bavaria, the two students demonstrated again their skills and talent by winning an international IoT competition.
Ali won with his innovative concept and prototype that makes elevators smart to save considerable maintenance costs, and Chris imagined an IoT solution for improving and optimizing the quality processes within a company.
The conference has been a two-days event that brought together a network of pan-European product development, service and Internet of Things leaders who are transforming their businesses to gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace. More than 2500 attendees have been recorded.
