Sheffield Entrepreneurship Academy of Digital Health

Digital Healthcare is an emerging sector focused on using ICT to address societal challenges relating to health and wellbeing. The application of digital healthcare includes both hardware, software, smart devices and analytical techniques to support healthcare professionals and patients to manage illnesses and promote health.
This academy is aimed at those with an entrepreneurial interest in digital health (including assistive technologies, E-health and Tele-health/Telemedicine). The academy will concentrate on identifying entrepreneurial solutions to healthcare challenges and support participants in pursuing their own entrepreneurial ideas.
The academy is a highly interactive enterprise learning programme which will include a series of visits and interactive workshops as well as the opportunity to engage with digital health businesses and healthcare professionals.
Whether you have technical skills or an entrepreneurial interest in entrepreneurship and digital health we want you to join the Startiy7 academy! Thanks to European Commission funding participation at the summer academy in Sheffield is free, and we are offering all participants FREE accommodation. In addition weekday lunches will be provided, as well as coffee breaks and 4 dinners. Up to Euro 300,00 (three hundred) reimbursement of travel expenses to reach Sheffield from your home location will be provided to the participants.
